JOB QUALIFICATIONSEducation and formal training:
Must be a high school graduate or have completed a high school equivalence course.
Additional on-the-job training provided for preparation of aseptic solutions, training of in/outpatient drug distribution systems.
Licensure required:
Licensure required: Pharmacy Technician License to practice in Indiana
Experience required:
Preference will be given to applicants with health care experience and particularly to applicants with hospital pharmacy experience.
Other:
Must be able to push and pull carts of medications and supplies weighing up to 150 pounds for approximately thirty-five percent of work time when delivering medications.
Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds of supplies as needed.
Must be able to walk and stand up to eighty-five percent (85%) of work time when preparing and dispensing medications.
Must be able to use analytical skills to maintain non-complex logs and records of delivery times, medications and supplies recovered and distributed, etc.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
