Pharmacy Tech- Full Time, Day/Evening- Saint Francis, DE
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Rotating Shift **Description:** **Saint Francis Hospital** , a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team! **Schedule** : Full-time rotating shift (Days/Evenings) technician would be expected to work one week on each shift. Ex: week1 6:45am-3:15pm week2 9am-5:30 pm week3 12pm-8:30pm : The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting the Pharmacist in aseptically preparing medications and I.V. therapies, and distributing medications to the patient care areas, performing nursing and pharmacy unit inspections, maintaining stock levels in all areas of the hospital or clinics. **Responsibilities include:** + Provides accurate medication preparation for patients including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric population. + Demonstrates accurate medication bin filling. + Albe to become proficient in mathematical calculations when preparing I.V. admixtures. + Performs all stocking functions. + Deliver medications to appropriate patient's room as ordered. + Process discharges, transfers, admissions, and credits medication appropriately to the patient. + Performs monthly nursing station inspections according to department policy. **Minimum Qualifications:** + High School Diploma or equivalent required + DE Board of Pharmacy approved certification (CPhT through the PTCB -or- NHA) is required + Strong mathematical skills and basic computer skills + Experience in hospital pharmacy practice highly preferred **We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including:** + Medical, Dental, & Vision Coverage (Effective Day 1 of Hire) + Retirement Savings Program + Paid Time Off + Tuition Reimbursement + Free Parking + And more! **Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion** Trinity Health is one of the largest not-for-profit, Catholic healthcare systems in the nation.
