Key responsibilities include:

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, will assist in the preparation and distribution of medications and maintaining the drug inventory;May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department;Receives and stores incoming supplies.Verifies stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Performs a variety of complicated tasks.May lead and direct the work of others.Typically reports to a manager or supervisor.

Key requirements:

A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy technician registrationNational pharmacy technician certification (PTCB, ExCPT, etc.) At least 1 year of experience in the pharmacy field or in a related area  Position is for roughly 20 hours a week including every other weekend.
