With 787 employees 101 active medical staff and 21 Emergency Department beds Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital continually implements and upgrades its technology and recruits employees who understand the vital importance of kindness and compassion in the healing process. **Responsibilities** **Position Summary:** The Pharmacy Technician III directly assists the pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications maintaining the drug inventory performing quality assurance activities and other duties as assigned. Satisfactory completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program or demonstration of satisfactory hospital experience in all aspects of drug preparation and drug distribution, including sterile compounding. **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications:** + Current California Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license required + National board certification for Pharmacy Technicians within ninety (90) days of hire + Satisfactory completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program or demonstration of satisfactory hospital experience in all aspects of drug preparation and drug distribution including sterile compounding. + Excellent oral and written skills + Computer skills + Ability to work independently with good organizational and project management skills **Pay Range** $32.31 - $42.17 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
