By joining PPMC, you get the best of both worlds and a genuine commitment to your professional growth and development. **Summary:** The Pharmacy Technician Trainee is a temporary job title for pharmacy technicians who are hired into any pharmacy area without pharmacy technician certification. A candidate hired into this role must become certified within 6 months of hire in order to continue employment and move into a permanent pharmacy technician role **Responsibilities:** Stock and restock medications Prepack medications Triage phone calls appropriately Fill medication orders Deliver medications to assigned areas Regularly rotate medication stock and check for expired medications **Minimum Requirements:** H.S. Diploma/GED required 1+ years Pharmacy Experience required Essential Skills/Abilities: Good communication skills, both verbal and written Good organizational skills Positive, team work attitude Works well with others as a team Perform basic office environment task Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and the internet Basic math skills Excellent patient/customer service We believe that the best care for our patients starts with the best care for our employees.
