Responsibilities:Assist Pharmacists and other Technicians with daily tasksHandle doctor calls and faxesProvide excellent customer service to customersWorks on projects as requested by Pharmacy DirectorPerforms order entry as neededMaintain friendly and helpful attitude at all times when dealing with medical professionals and customersKnowledge and understanding of a retail pharmacyQualifications:High School degree or equivalentPrevious work experience in a hospital setting and/or retail pharmacy is preferredProven customer service skillsMust be registered or licensed as required by the State Board of PharmacyNational certification is preferred3+ years Pharmacy Technician experience, preferredWhat is expected of you and others at this levelApplies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasksReadily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned areaMaintains appropriate licenses, training and certificationsWorks on routine assignments that require some problem resolutionWorks within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methodsAdheres to all quality guidelinesWorks under moderate degree of supervisionWork typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisorRefers complex unusual problems to supervisorAnticipated hourly range: $21.90 per hour - $29.39 per hour (including shift differentials)
