Cardinal Health Remote Pharmacy Services is currently searching for a highly energetic and clinically oriented pharmacy technician to join our remote pharmacy team.  The pharmacy technician is responsible for answering the telephone, handling calls from hospital staff and retail patients,  and assisting pharmacists with order entry operations. This position requires you to work within our licensed pharmacy and not from your home.

Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off - Thursday - Wednesday 4p-2a a on weekdays and 2p-12a weekends.  

Responsibilities:Assist Pharmacists and other Technicians with daily tasksHandle doctor calls and faxesProvide excellent customer service to customersWorks on projects as requested by Pharmacy DirectorPerforms order entry as neededMaintain friendly and helpful attitude at all times when dealing with medical professionals and customersKnowledge and understanding of a retail pharmacyQualifications:High School degree or equivalentPrevious work experience in a hospital setting and/or retail pharmacy is preferredProven customer service skillsMust be registered or licensed as required by the State Board of PharmacyNational certification is preferred3+ years Pharmacy Technician experience, preferred
