ResponsibilitiesProvidence Medical Center is looking for a full time variable shift Pharmacy Technician. The Pharmacy Tech assists the Pharmacist in the support of the drug distribution systems, including patient counseling and pharmacokinetic calculations, and participates in performance improvement and data collections activities. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
responsible for dosage preparationpreparation of sterile admixture using aseptic techniqueinventory control, controlled substances distribution, documentation and accountabilityassisting in the inspection of medication storage areas throughout the hospitalparticipates in providing pharmaceutical care for the following age groups: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatricsperforms other tasks as assigned by the Pharmacist QualificationsEducation and Work Experience
previous hospital pharmacy technician experience, preferredState Pharmacy Technician License/Registration required (if required by state regulations)high school diploma or equivalentgraduate of ASHP-accredited or equivalent pharmacy technician training program, preferredour #hospital #pharmacy at #providencemedicalcenter also known as #PMC is #hiring a #pharmacytech for a #fulltime shift
