Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Job Description Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician and play a vital role in the healthcare industry. Your main tasks will include filling prescription items, packaging medications for dispensing and delivery, and labeling products accurately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels. You will participate in periodic inventory checks, prepare medications such as emulsions, liquids, powders, and ointments, and handle non-sterile compounding. Additionally, you will assist in managing inventory, input patient data and medication orders into a computer system, and service facility-based medication dispensing machines. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy by communicating effectively with both internal and external customers and participating in the training of new employees. Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Austin, Texas. Work Environment This position offers two shifts: one from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday with possible weekends from 9am to 3pm, and another from 3pm to 12am Monday to Friday with possible weekends from 9am to 3pm. This is a non-retail, closed-door pharmacy environment focused on production, fulfillment, and warehouse operations.
