Position Requirements:
Graduate from a formal pharmacy technician program Certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)Minimum 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician within the past three years
Position Responsibilities:
Perform pharmaceutical dispensing duties including filling new outpatient prescriptions, refilling prescriptions, and entering orders into databases.Provide new and refill prescriptions, support patient requests, support physician’s requests, monitor for drug interactions, and report adverse drug reactions.Perform quality improvement duties including performing drug storage inspection, reviewing expired supplies, and producing error and workload reports and documentation.Placing new orders, stock shelves, and provide inventory maintenan
