Job Description

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician at MSK's Inpatient location.

 

Role Overview:

Prepare Compounded Sterile Products inside the USP 797 cleanroomFollow USP 797 guidelines for IV preparationsPerform Inventory management (ordering, receiving, stocking)Triage phone calls with courtesy and promptness and refer to a pharmacist when applicableMaintain pharmacy files and recordsDemonstrate proficiency with appropriate pharmacy equipment, systems, and technologyAssist with pharmacy inspectionsAdhere to State and Federal regulations and Pharmacy Policies and ProceduresPerform other duties as assignedComplete annual competency assessments

Key Qualifications:

HS Diploma/GED with 2+ years of clinic/hospital experience preferredPTCB or NHA Technician Certification (CPhT) requiredCurrent NY Technician LicenseIV compounding experience preferred

Additional Information:

Location: 1275 York AvenueShift: 37.5 hours per week Sunday to Saturday. Shifts, hours, and weekends vary to meet the needs of the department

Pay Range: $27.80-$43.08
