Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking Certified Pharmacy Technicians to join our expanding team in Cary, NC. Their mission is to simplify access to medication and deliver personalized care that helps patients achieve the best-possible outcome. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

Review contents of referrals to ensure complete and accurate information has been received.Create a patient profile from a scanned or faxed image by entering correct patient and provider information to ensure all other groups can successfully serve the patient.Conduct an initial check of prescriptions to ensure clinical accuracy for processing.Communicate with providers regarding referral status, prescription clarifications, missing information, or patient concerns to ensure all information is collected and accurate before it reaches other teams for further processing.Update concise progress notes to ensure other roles within the workflow can quickly assess the status of the referral.Enter new provider information (e.g., National Provider Identifier) accurately into the system so that the Business Intelligence group can complete their reporting.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Over 1 year of pharmacy operation experience with data entry and basic pharmacy dutiesMUST have CPhT (national certification)MUST be NC Registered (NCBOP)Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position in an office setting with the opportunity to transition to hybrid or remote work following the initial 4 months. The shift expectations are Monday-Friday 9am-6pm. The office is closed for all major holidays.
