Pharmacy Technician
Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Job Description: As a Backend Production Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive the medications they need while adhering to regulatory standards. You’ll have the opportunity to work in various workstations, helping you expand your skills and knowledge. Our back-end team is dedicated to order fulfillment in our closed-door pharmacy, which includes tasks like packaging and dispensing medication, checking delivery orders and bins for accuracy, and managing stock rotations. Here are some of the key responsibilities:

Rotate and work in different pharmacy workstations such as Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, IV, Ekit, Compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill, and Machine Packaging.Receive product deliveries, pull and stage products for distribution, rotate stock, and coordinate with drivers to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.Perform physical inventories of medication.

Hard Skills:

At least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.State registration as a Pharmacy Technician.National certification as a PTCB technician (preferred).High School diploma or equivalent.Experience working in a pharmacy setting.Knowledge of medical terminology.

Dependable and reliable.Highly productive.Professional demeanor.Strong sense of urgency.Flexibility to work any shift during operating hours.

Work Site: This is a fully on-site position located in Vinton, Virginia.

Work Environment: You’ll need to be able to work rotating shifts from 8 AM to 4 PM, 11:30 AM to 9 PM, and 1:30 PM to 11 PM. This includes working morning, mid-day, and evening shifts, as well as every other weekend.
