Pharmacy Technician
Job Title: Pharmacy Technician - CXJob Description The Customer Experience Technician is responsible for providing a superior customer experience and supporting the best patient care environment. This role involves handling high-volume phone calls, data order entry, and assisting management in executing the company's mission. Responsibilities + Demonstrate a working knowledge of all pharmacy rules and regulations. + Interpret faxes, e-scripts, verbal, and written prescription orders. + Input all information into the LifeFile System. + Charge credit cards for orders. + Answer patient phone calls and provide excellent customer service. + Process refill requests from patients and doctors’ offices. + Call patients about new prescriptions and IVR requests. + Call doctors for refill requests. + Maintain compliance with company and HIPAA patient confidentiality requirements. + Follow all policies and procedures set forth by the company. + Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Tech Trainee. + Strong knowledge of pharmacy compounding and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). + Experience working in a retail pharmacy setting. + PTCB certification is strongly preferred. + Excellent customer service skills and empathy. + Strong communication, listening skills, and attention to detail. + Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, data entry, email, and internet. + Good math skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with custom medications/formulas specific to patients. + Ability to work effectively in a team environment. + Strong work ethic. Work Environment The work hours are from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The role involves working in a closed-door compounding pharmacy.
