We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The primary focus of this role will be order and data entry, ensuring accurate and timely processing of prescriptions and patient information. Responsibilities
Collect faxed prescriptions and perform data entryAssist patients with their prescriptions and insurance queriesAccurately enter dosing information and manage enrollmentsHandle controlled substance reports and verify CS dataEnsure compliance with Prescription Drug Monitoring Program regulationsNo phone handling, insurance claims, or prior authorizations requiredRequirements
Registered Pharmacy TechnicianCertified Pharmacy TechnicianProficiency in data entry and order entry systemsStrong customer service skillsExperience with Microsoft Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel)Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficient in using Prescription Drug Monitoring ProgramsAbility to handle controlled substance reporting and verificationGood computer skillsWork Environment
This position is 100% onsite initially, with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid work schedule after 90 days, based on performance metrics. The hybrid schedule includes 3 remote days and 2 in-office days, with Fridays always being remote. Enjoy internal benefits, holiday/PTO, and opportunities for promotion from within.
Schedule
Working hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts falling between 8 AM to 6 PM (8-5, 9-6). No weekend shifts. Remote work will require an extra monitor and an HDMI cord.
