 The Pharmacy Technician 2 obtains new prescriptions and prescription refill information. The Pharmacy Technician 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments.

The Pharmacy Technician 2:

Obtains new prescriptions and prescription refill informationRetrieves, counts, and measures drugs.Assists Pharmacist in price-checking and restocking of drugs.Accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer.Refers physicians' calls and any medical questions to pharmacist.May operate a cash register.

Location: This is an onsite role. CenterWell Pharmacy Inc. 10401 SW 40 St. Miami, FL 33165

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and some Saturdays 8am to 12pm

Required Qualifications

2+ years of retail pharmacy tech experienceHigh volume pharmacy experience, able to process 500+ prescriptions per day.Must exhibit exceptional patience and empathy in all patience interactions.Able to thrive in close-knit working environments, strong teamwork, and effective communication.Must have active license with the FL Board of PharmacyMust have an active National Certification (PTCB), or the ability to obtain one within 12 months of hire.This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
