Pharmacy Technician
Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianJob Description The Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacists by preparing medications, performing routine duties, delivering medications, and assisting with clerical functions. The role includes delivering medications to medication rooms and nursing stations as needed. Responsibilities + Prepare medications under the direction of pharmacists + Deliver medications to medication rooms and nursing stations + Perform routine duties and assist with clerical functions + Provide customer service + Handle data entry and medication refills Essential Skills + At least 6 months of experience as a pharmacy technician + High School Diploma + Proficiency in pharmacy-related tasks + Data entry skills + Experience with medication refills + Customer service skills + Pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) + Knowledge of Omnicell medication dispensing equipment Additional Skills & Qualifications + PTCB CPhT Certification is preferred, but not required + Prior experience using Omnicell medication dispensing equipment is a plus + Ability to work independently + Strong multitasking skills + Organized, precise, and neat Work Environment The candidate will be part of a smaller team and is expected to maintain a neat and clean appearance, wearing appropriate identification while on duty. The position is temporary, requiring 30-32 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 8am-2pm. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $25.90 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
