Responsibilities
+ Onboard all clinical staff in accordance with Pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures.
+ Provide consultation and direction to ensure implementation of quality assurance programs and services.
+ Mentor new employees.
+ Maintain all aspects of the pharmacy operation department, including training documentation and reporting.
+ Support financial goals by being fiscally responsible, including inventory management.
+ Monitor and update policies and procedures to include regulatory changes.
+ Demonstrate working knowledge of all facets of the role, relevant regulations, and policies.
+ Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
+ Support the region in necessary duties, including pharmacy coverage as approved by the direct supervisor.
Essential Skills
+ Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification through the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
+ High school education required.
+ Minimum of one year pharmacy technician experience mixing medications in a sterile environment.
+ Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings.
+ Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associate Degree preferred.
+ Three years of pharmacy technician experience preferred.
+ One year as a Clinic-Pharmacy Technician preferred.
+ Experience in pharmacy support, mixing, IV therapy, training development.
+ Skills in customer service, order entry, filling, labelling, customer support.
+ Knowledge of healthcare, Medicaid, Medicare, clinical review, health insurance.
+ Experience in oncology, hematology.
Work Environment
The role is based in the Naples/Bonita Springs/Fort Myers area and candidates must reside in one of those cities. The work environment includes working in a clinic and potentially travelling to satellite offices and offsite meetings.
