Pharmacy Technician

The Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician plays a key role in supporting  Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist practice thru handling appointments, gathering and documentation of patient information through interviews with patients, families, caregivers, pharmacies, and medical providers. This role provides expertise in prior authorizations as applicable and may administer vaccines when in scope for the practice site.

Required qualifications:

H.S. Diploma or GED Upon hire: Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician Or Upon hire: Oregon Pharmacy Technician License  Within 2 years of hire: National Certified Pharmacy Technician certification within 2 years of hire as applicable. 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience

Preferred qualifications:

Coursework/Training and Pharmacy technician program (may be required in some states for pharmacy technicians) 1 year of Customer Service experience
