Job Title: Pharmacy Technician - Call Center (Onsite)
Job Description: We are currently seeking Registered Pharmacy Technicians to join our call-center team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a high volume of inbound phone calls, providing support with the receipt, review, and verification of patient prescriptions. This includes prepping and scanning documents, verifying patient data, and entering prescription orders into our pharmacy data system. Additionally, you will work closely with pharmacists and pharmacy teams to ensure patient and provider needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls.Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient and provider inquiries.Verify patient data and enter prescription orders into the pharmacy data system.Prep and scan documents related to patient prescriptions.Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy teams to ensure timely and accurate prescription processing.Assist with prescription refills, manual resolutions, and prescription transfers.Maintain accurate records of all pharmacy transactions and interactions.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.Qualifications:
Valid Florida Board of Pharmacy Registered Pharmacy Technician license.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with pharmacy processing systems.Familiarity with prescription terminology.Strong computer and typing skills.Exceptional customer service abilities.Reliable with the ability to maintain professionalism.Active listening and problem-solving skills.Strong time management and organizational skills.Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic environment.Ability to multitask and manage multiple requests simultaneously.Preferred Qualifications:
National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician.Previous experience in a call-center environment.Experience with third-party claims processing.Work Environment:
