Job Title: Pharmacy Technician - Fullfillment/Call Center (Onsite)
Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for accurately preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining inventory, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Additionally, you will handle inbound calls, support the receipt, review, and verification of patient prescriptions, and enter orders into our pharmacy data system. You will work closely with pharmacists to ensure patient and provider needs are met efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Accurately prepare and dispense medications according to prescriptions.Verify prescription information and dosage instructions.Maintain and update patient medication records.Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications.Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.Operate and maintain pharmacy equipment and automated dispensing systems.Assist in the preparation of medication orders for delivery to healthcare facilities.Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and safety of dispensed medications.Provide excellent customer service to healthcare providers and facility staff.Answer incoming calls from patients, healthcare providers, and facility staff.Address inquiries regarding medication orders, refills, and general pharmacy services.Resolve issues related to prescription processing and insurance claims.Document and escalate complex issues to the appropriate personnel.Follow up with patients and healthcare providers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any concerns.Qualifications:
Valid Florida Board of Pharmacy Registered Pharmacy Technician license.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with pharmacy processing systems.Familiarity with prescription terminology.Strong computer and typing skills.Exceptional customer service abilities.Reliable with the ability to maintain professionalism.Active listening and problem-solving skills.Strong time management and organizational skills.Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic environment.Ability to multitask and manage multiple requests simultaneously.Preferred Qualifications:
National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician.Previous experience in a call-center environment.Experience with third-party claims processing.Work Environment:
