Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our Appeals department. In this role, you will work primarily with Medicare patients, handling denied Prior Authorizations. You will review provided information, reach out for additional details if necessary, and then send the case to Pharmacists for a final determination. This position involves making approximately 60 outbound calls per shift to Medicare/elderly members who are often frustrated due to medication denials, mostly for injectable medications administered in a doctor's office.

This is a 100% remote position. You must work in a closed-door setting with limited distractions and ensure HIPAA compliance. A strong WiFi connection is required. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM in your time zone. You must be comfortable working weekends and holidays. The role offers a 90% cultural score internally, holiday pay while on contract after 30 days, and when permanent, includes holiday pay, PTO, flexibility, and benefits.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00
