Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Florida Pharmacy Technician to join our team as an item entry technician. The ideal candidate will accurately interpret and enter prescription information into our processing system and ensure appropriate dosing.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare prescription orders in a timely manner.Stock and manage the robotic counting machine.Ensure fast mover medications are well stocked.Maintain the cleanliness of the pharmacy based on a cleaning schedule.Check expired drugs on a monthly basis.Respect and maintain confidentiality guidelines of HIPAA.Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures.Assist with inventory as assigned.Perform routine, professional pharmacy functions.Complete other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsRegistered Pharmacy Technician with the State of Florida.Data entry proficiency.Ability to dose and perform pharmacy calculations.Strong communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Preferred national certification (CPhT).Minimum of one year of pharmacy experience.Ability to pass an assessment.Work Environment
This position is within a closed-door mail order pharmacy attached to a large office. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with shifts from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM or 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. We offer holiday pay while on contract for six holidays, PTO, vacation, health benefits, and a 401k plan. Our growing company offers room for advancement and an employee benefit program.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50
