Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Florida Pharmacy Technician to join our team as an item entry technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately interpreting and entering prescription information into our processing system, ensuring appropriate dosing and compliance with regulations.

ResponsibilitiesEfficiently enter prescription orders into the pharmacy processing system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.Verify prescription dosage and contact providers for clarification if necessary.Essential SkillsRegistered Pharmacy Technician license with the State of Florida.Proficiency in data entry and prescription processing.Strong understanding of pharmacy calculations and dosing.At least one year of pharmacy experience.Ability to pass an assessment.Strong communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.National certification (CPhT) preferred.Experience in retail pharmacy and knowledge of healthcare systems.Work Environment

This position is based in a closed-door mail order pharmacy with a large office attached. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. After four weeks of onsite training, employees may have the opportunity to work remotely. Our company offers holiday pay for six holidays while on contract, paid time off (PTO), vacation, health benefits, and a 401k plan. As a growing company with a Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM), specialty, and traditional mail order services on site, there is ample room for growth and participation in our employee benefit program.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50
