Pharmacy Technician
Adecco is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team of Licensed Pharmacy technicians at the Jeffersonville site of a national pharmaceutical organization. The Licensed Pharmacy Technician will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed pharmacists in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients. This position requires working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations. Apply today! **Must possess an Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Indiana State Board of Pharmacy** **Minimum Qualifications** Must have an active Indiana Pharmacy Technician License High School Diploma or equivalent Previous pharmacy experience Able to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line. Able to consistently carry 20 - 30 lbs. of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs. of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor. Must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift. Basic math, reading and writing skills required. **Schedule-** 2nd Shift - Monday 1pm-11:30pm Tuesday - Friday 2pm-11pm Saturday 12pm-8:30pm **Pay Rate-** The anticipated wage for this position is between $ 19.00 and $ 19.70 Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors. 1. Medication Dispensing: • Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing. • Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders. • Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity; opening large quantities of bottles and cases of product. • Ensure the proper labeling and instructions for patient use on medication containers. • Maintain an organized and clean dispensing area. 2. Inventory Management: • Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent expiration of medications. 3. Compliance and Regulations: • Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations. • Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times. • Assist in record-keeping and documentation of prescription and medication-related information.
