Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician responsible for processing prescriptions through the pharmacy system, including adjudicating claims to third-party insurance plans on patient care units. The role involves assisting with filling medication orders accurately and timely, collecting medication histories as part of the medication reconciliation process, and participating in multidisciplinary rounds. The DDP Technician will facilitate the delivery of medications to patients and their families in hospital and clinic settings, coordinate payments, and communicate issues to the pharmacist and the Prior Authorization Team as needed. Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with patients and their families both via telephone and in person.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
