ResponsibilitiesTriage, interpret, and input orders into a computerized medication order system while meeting accuracy and productivity standards of the pharmacy.Audit input versus documentation and make corrections as needed.Perform drug calculations, including basic mathematical calculations (e.g., converting milligrams).Resolve issues of denials identified through adjudication and follow-up claims in Point of Sale (POS).Maintain current knowledge of Medicaid claim regulations and processes.Produce reports and keep management informed of unpaid claims and claims pending follow-up.Provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers in accordance with company values.Assist with drug preparation and dispensing under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.Perform other tasks as assigned, which can include assisting in any area of the pharmacy as directed by management.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Pharmacy-related experience.Basic understanding of drugs, medication terminology, and the metric system.Ability to operate a computer.Detail-oriented.Goal-oriented.Team player.Customer service skills.Oral communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsLicenses/Certifications as required by state regulations and business needs.RPHTWork Environment

We offer a non-retail, closed-door pharmacy environment with flexible schedules. Shifts include 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM and 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
