Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is looking for a **Pharmacy Technician** for our client in **Birmingham, AL!** This position is onsite / in person. **Type:** 4-month contract temporary assignment from 3/17/25 to 7/31/25 **Pay:** $21.50 to 23.50 /hr **Shifts:** Monday – Friday 9 am to 5 pm **Location:** Onsite in Birmingham, AL **Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician:** · Fulfill the shipping of specialty medication across the country. · Will be working with up to 10 pharmacy team members in a fulfillment setting to ship medications to patients. · Use multiple computer systems to obtain pharmacy orders, compare to order received and produce mailing labels · Utilize the best method for product packing and shipping based on standard procedures to include type of packaging, unique conditions (i.e. refrigeration), etc. to ensure safe and secure delivery · Prepare manual prescription orders by verifying information, pulling appropriate prescription drugs from inventory and complete necessary scanning and packaging as necessary · Maintain various machines and equipment (e.g. IPD machines, auto packing machines) **Qualifications for the Pharmacy Technician:** + High School Graduate or equivalent + Alabama Pharmacy Technician License **Why work for Adecco?** · Excellent Weekly Pay discussed during screening · 401(k) Plan · Skills Training · Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
