Responsibilities
+ Perform order entry and follow up for new orders, DC’s, STAT orders, Accuflow Change logs, mail orders, CII evaluation and data entry, work queue, blister management, and patient admissions into the pharmacy system.
+ Ensure accurate, timely prescription/patient information input using the pharmacy computer systems Framework and DocuTrack.
+ Research, follow up, and troubleshoot discrepancies in prescription/patient data entry.
+ Resolve order discrepancies with customers, including issues with illegible prescriptions or potential medication concerns.
+ Collaborate with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals and objectives.
+ Contribute to the continuous improvement of client services, policies, and procedures.
+ Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and customers.
+ Answer telephones when needed to respond to customer needs and provide excellent customer service.
Essential Skills
+ Pharmacy technician certification
+ Registered pharmacy technician experience
+ Proficiency in pharmacy computer systems (Framework, DocuTrack)
+ Strong data entry and order entry skills
+ Excellent customer service skills
+ Experience in retail pharmacy
+ Ability to multitask and work with multiple locations
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with using computers and headsets
+ Ability to work every other weekend and holiday (3 holidays/year)
+ Experience in a closed-door pharmacy setting
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
