We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for: + Servicing pharmacy customers, including obtaining and recording initial demographic information, data entry in the pharmacy system, insurance verification, and label generation. + Dispensing and delivering medications using the department's information systems, technology, and automation. + Providing insurance and third-party billing functions, including data entry of customer and third-party information, obtaining prior authorizations, maintaining files of prior authorizations, investigating and correcting insurance errors, and handling insurance and third-party prescription-related issues. + Developing competence in pharmacy operations and procedures, satisfying legal, regulatory, and department requirements of pharmacy practice. + Complying with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
