Pharmacy TechnicianResponsibilities
+ Order entry and follow-up including new order entry, DC’s, STAT order entry, Accuflow Change logs, mail order entry, CII evaluation, data entry, work queue, blister management, and patient admission into the pharmacy system.
+ Understand and utilize the pharmacy computer system Framework / DocuTrack for accurate and timely prescription/patient information input.
+ Research, follow-up, and troubleshoot prescription/patient data entry discrepancies.
+ Resolve discrepancies in orders with customers, such as illegible prescriptions or potential medication concerns.
+ Collaborate with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals and objectives.
+ Contribute to the evaluation and continuous improvement of client services, policies, and procedures.
+ Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and customers.
+ Answer telephone calls as needed to respond to customer needs, ensuring high-quality customer service.

Work Environment
This is a closed-door pharmacy environment where technicians interact with customers over the phone rather than face-to-face. Technicians are scheduled to work one weekend every other week, with a day off during the week when they have a weekend shift. They also work every other holiday, totaling three holidays per year. The dress code includes scrubs or business casual attire with comfortable, clean tennis shoes. T-shirts and leggings are not allowed. Order entry and customer care responsibilities are performed entirely on a computer with a headset. The facility is clean and organized, featuring a front desk, office area for order entry and pharmacists, an operations floor with automated equipment, an IV room, and a break room with coffee, water, and snacks available for purchase.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
