Job Description Accurately fill and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Perform data entry of prescription information, including patient details, medication, and dosage. Verify and double-check prescriptions for accuracy and maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality. Assist pharmacists with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications. Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers. Adhere to all pharmacy laws and regulations. Participate in continuous education and training programs to stay current with pharmacy practices. Essential Skills + Nevada Pharmacy Technician's License + PTCB certified (CPhT) preferred + 2+ years’ experience in retail pharmacy + High School Diploma or equivalent + Knowledge of QS1 NRx or PrimeCare preferred + Customer service + Data entry + Docu-Track experience is a plus + Friendly customer service is a MUST + Able to work well with others as a team Work Environment The pharmacy, which opened in January, is located inside a medical clinic. The successful candidate will be the first technician working alongside the Pharmacy Manager. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Friday from 8:00am to 12:00pm.
