Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our Appeals department. In this role, you will work primarily with Medicare patients, handling denied Prior Authorizations. You will review provided information, reach out for additional details if necessary, and then send the case to Pharmacists for a final determination. This position involves making approximately 60 outbound calls per shift to Medicare/elderly members who are often frustrated due to medication denials, mostly for injectable medications administered in a doctor's office.

Qualifications
Must have a minimum of High School Diploma or GED
Must hold an active Pharmacy Technician license as required by state of operation
Experience retail pharmacy, hospital, or specialty pharmacy environments
Must be able to type 40 WPM
Shift
Must be open Monday-Friday 10:00 am-6:30 pm in your respective time zone
Must be comfortable working weekends, and holidays. Will be put in a rotation.
Work Environment
This is a 100% remote position. You must work in a closed-door setting with limited distractions and ensure HIPAA compliance. A strong Wi-Fi connection is required.
