Pharmacy Technician - Clinic
Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our ambulatory clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for order entry, customer service, and filling prescriptions. Spanish-speaking candidates are highly desired to better serve our diverse patient population.

ResponsibilitiesAccurately enter medication orders into the pharmacy system.Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.Prepare and dispense medications according to prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.Assist in maintaining inventory levels, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and storage requirements.Work closely with pharmacists, healthcare providers, and other clinic staff to ensure seamless patient care.Essential SkillsPharmacy technician certification (CPhT) preferred.Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in an ambulatory clinic.Proficiency in order entry and prescription filling.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.Attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Work Environment

Supporting a pharmacy located in an ambulatory clinic with a large Spanish-speaking population. Hours are 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00
