Pharmacy Technician - Fulfillment
Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for the daily operation of an automated Packaging and Dispensing equipment, the fulfillment of Bulk Prescriptions, and the Staging of all finished items for shipment to our customers. This position also involves assisting any other area in the facility as needed with regards to pharmacy operations.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE: 8am-430pm OR 4pm-12:30am with rotating weekends!

ResponsibilitiesOperate the Paxit automated Packaging and Dispensing equipment.Fulfill Bulk Prescriptions and stage all finished items for shipment.Assist with manual compounding for specialty prescriptions.Stock general medical products such as topicals and bandages.Move individual bins to a staging area for courier pick-up at 11pm.Assist in any other area of the facility as needed.Essential SkillsHigh School graduate or equivalent.Current State Pharmacy Certification (Michigan License or temporary license).Basic computer knowledge.Understanding of medical terminology, math, and analytical skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy is a plus.Ability to perform mundane tasks and follow instructions.Work Environment

Fulfillment Pharmacy located at the back of the building. This is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy that fulfills scripts for many long-term care and nursing facilities. The team consists of about 50 people across three shifts. The environment is clean and resembles a manufacturing setting more than a traditional pharmacy. While it can be quiet as individuals often work alone, the team is friendly and always available to help.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
