Job Title: Pharmacy Technician II
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician II to join our specialty pharmacy team. In this role, you will be responsible for data entry and quality assurance of prescriptions. You will ensure accuracy in prescription details before the medication is packaged and sent out. This is a remote position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM. The initial assignment is for 3 months with the potential for extension.

ResponsibilitiesUtilize short codes for data entry (e.g., PO for by mouth, T for tablet).Identify sound alike/look alike drugs and package sizes or stock sizes for medications.Type prescriptions for each patient and identify any mistakes on prescriptions.Send prescriptions back to the appropriate parties for clarification if needed.Verify all prescription details are correct before the patient is scheduled and the drug is packaged and sent out.Essential SkillsCertified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)Strong computer skillsStrong customer service skillsAt least one year of experience in a retail or specialty pharmacyAdditional Skills & QualificationsPrior remote work experienceWork Environment

This is a remote position. You will be provided with a computer and monitor. You must have reliable internet access and a quiet workspace. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM. Enjoy a great training program and room for growth within the company.
