Schedule: Full Time

Shift: Days Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm – rotating weekends

Location: 100 Hospital Drive Hendersonville, NC 28792

The role you’ll contribute:

Prepares and organizes pharmacy medications by name and dosage, as listed on patient orders. To provide safe and accurate medication services and to support all those involved in direct patient care.

The value you’ll bring to the team

Maintains operational expertise in and actively provides coverage of the technician services provided by Central Pharmacy, IV Room, Delivery, Controlled Substances

Oversees appropriate utilization of medication automation, technology, and computer systems

Accurately oversees the management of medication inventories and the preparation and delivery of patientspecific medication doses

Mentors new-staff and assists with training

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

High school Diploma

Sterile Compounding & Aseptic Technique-IV Cert Course

Registered Pharmacy Technician

Registered Pharmacy Technician in their respective state or within 90 days based on state requirement

If applicable to facility Sterile Compounding Certification

Please be advised that all licenses and certifications listed are not required. If you only have one or some of those listed, you may still be eligible for this position

Applicable State Pharmacy Technician Registration (RPT) OR Current, valid State Pharmacist Intern license if applicable to state
