Job Title: Pharmacy Technician III

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician III to assist pharmacists with the practice of pharmacy in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and corporate policies. The ideal candidate will accurately interpret prescription orders, manage the patient adherence process, and ensure efficient communication with healthcare providers and insurance payors. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can contribute to improving pharmacy operations and patient care.

ResponsibilitiesAssist the pharmacist in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and corporate policies.Accurately interpret healthcare providers' prescription orders and enter them into the core pharmacy system.Notify physicians of incomplete or incorrect prescription information and perform physician outreach as appropriate.Obtain accurate verbal orders for product replacement and missing prescription information from healthcare providers.Manage the patient adherence process and schedule medication deliveries according to guidelines.Assist patients with treatment compliance by updating current medications, allergies, and medical conditions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

IL Pharmacy Technician certification.High School Diploma.Strong computer skills and data entry proficiency.Work Environment

Shifts are Monday through Friday, with business hours between 7am and 7pm, typically 8-hour shifts. Must be available to work from 10:30am to 7pm depending on staffing needs. Overtime is offered depending on workload and may be mandated occasionally

Pay Rate: $18-21/hr
