Department: Pharmacy Services Inpatient-Three days per week - six days per pay period; hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Every other weekend.Schedule: Part Time/.6 FTE/Day ShiftHospital: Borgess PippLocation: Plainwell, MI

Responsibilities

Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the Pharmacist prior to receiving certification.

Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the pharmacy department.Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds. Repackage bulk medications.Receive and store incoming supplies.Triage incoming calls and serve as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing information. 
Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Michigan Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences

Hospital experience preferred
