**Requirements:**
**-Must have a valid Pharmacy Tech license for the state of Texas**
- Must have 1-2 years of recent experience in a pharmacy Data Intake role
-High school diploma or GED.
**Pay:** The anticipated wage for this position is between $19.00 and $20.
Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
**Schedule**
Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM. Weekends and overtime may be required based on business needs.
**Location- Onsite- Irving, Texas 75024- After successfully completing 5 weeks of training, this may transition to a hybrid schedule**
**Job Description:**
- Demonstrate initiative and adopt a proactive, enthusiastic approach to work.
- Display a sense of urgency and excellent multi-tasking abilities.
- Verify the completeness of all orders.
- Read and interpret prescriptions accurately.
- Confirm patient information and appropriate physician authorization.
- Ensure all orders receive insurance approval.
- Calculate correct dosage volumes, converting between metric and apothecary units.
- Assist Pharmacists in safely distributing medications and providing pharmaceutical care.
- Enter and process new prescriptions into the pharmacy computer system as allowed by pharmacy regulations, and only under the direction of the supervising pharmacist after they review the prescription according to Company policies and procedures.
- Handle prescription refills, including confirming refills when appropriate, reviewing pending refills with the supervising pharmacist, generating refill documentation, and processing third-party claims adjudication.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Process all orders accurately and promptly.
- Help maintain the accuracy of software templates.

**Pay Details:** $19.00 per hour
