Accountable for the performance of pharmacy functions, including robotics, that serves clients in Idaho Falls and the surrounding communities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent prepares compounded or other pharmaceuticals at the direction of and under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. All duties performed by the intern/extern must be carried out in accordance with the rules and regulations set down by the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy. All pharmaceuticals prepared by the Pharmacy Technician/Intern/Extern must be checked by a licensed pharmacist prior to being dispensed for patient use. Accountable for performing clerical functions to support smooth administrative operation of the pharmacy. Performs record maintenance, billing, phone reception and counter reception, and/or other clerical functions as directed. May run occasional errands as needed Must maintain confidentiality of patient records and employee information and use discretion. The employee is required to comply with all PCI standards and other company policies and procedures for payment card acceptance and security.
