We want you to apply! **Job Summary and Qualifications** _* This is a Full Time position to help cover Day/Evening shifts. Must be able to work hours between 7am - 10:30pm with rotating weekends *_ The Pharmacy Technician Specialist is responsible for accurately performing advanced and basic pharmacy technician functions in a timely manner. In addition, they are responsible for performing duties associated with Automated Dispensing Cabinets (ADCs), other specialized duties and/or leadership roles as assigned by the pharmacy management team. What You Will Do In This Role + Performs duties associated with Automated Dispensing Cabinets (ADCs) + Accurately performs and documents monthly medication storage area inspections as assigned + Accurately performs required calculations + Accurately and safely compounds and labels medications and parenteral admixtures + Always utilizes aseptic techniques in the preparation of parenteral compounding + Compliant with all USP 795, 797, 800 daily/monthly requirements (i.e. Cleaning laminar airflow cabinets and biological safety cabinets, wearing personal protective equipment, etc.) **What qualifications you will need:** + National Certification (PTCB or NHA) required + Texas State Board Registration required (Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern) + IV certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire + IV room experience a plus + Minimum of 1 year experience required, 2+ years preferred + Associate's Degree Medical City Dallas is recognized for its advanced medical facilities and commitment to excellence in patient care.
