The pharmacy technician will perform pharmacy-related tasks in a fast-paced environment under the supervision of a pharmacist. The pharmacy technician will provide pharmaceutical services to patients and long-term care residents in a manner that maximizes quality and patient safety, and will be responsible for ensuring all prescriptions are filled without errors in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
+ Perform pharmacy-related tasks in a fast-paced environment.
+ Provide pharmaceutical services to patients and long-term care residents.
+ Ensure all prescriptions are filled without errors and in a timely manner.
+ Assist in order entry and filling prescriptions.
+ Handle data entry tasks.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience
+ Exceptional problem-solving skills
+ Ability to think on your toes
+ Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
+ Excellent attention to detail
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Pioneer software (preferred)
+ PTCB certification (preferred but not required)
Work Environment
The work environment is a long-term care retail facility. The shift is from 10am to 6pm, Monday through Friday. This is a great opportunity to get into a specialty pharmacy with room for growth.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00
