Pharmacy Technician Student at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA

Under the supervision of the Pharmacy preceptors, the Clinical Student Pharmacy Technician will be enrolled in a Pharmacy Technician training program. The student tech will be expected to complete and comply with all academic standards of the training program and practice clinical skill competencies. 

The Clinical Student Pharmacy Tech intern program is an on-the-job clinical internship that complements a formal training program, which is designed to teach basic skills to become a certified pharmacy tech. 

About the training program: The program consists of an on-the-job training program with instruction and practical training and will assure the competence of the trainees to aid and assist pharmacy operations. At the end of the training program, the trainees will be prepared to take the National Certification Exam, which is a requirement in Washington State to become licensed as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

Required Qualifications:

Enrolled in a Pharmacy Technician training program Within 60 days of hire: Washington Pharmacy Assistant License
