Details:

Schedule: M-F 9:00 am-5:30pm.This role will be performed onsite at a closed-door pharmacy in Englewood, CO. All patient interactions will be over the phone.Salary Range: $58,656-$65,000We offer full-time benefits including health, vision, dental and matching 401k options.

Function as the team leader for Data Entry Technicians under the direction and supervision of the Director of Pharmacy Operations. Facilitate, coordinate, and supervise daily operations to provide overall quality pharmacy services.

Essential Job Functions (include the following):

Assist Manager/Director of Operations in day to day pharmacy operations and in implementing new procedures.Assist with recruitment, selection, training and supervision of pharmacy technicians.Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of appropriate documentation required by the state and federal agencies.Supervise operating procedures, protocols and guidelines.Ensure the delivery of quality pharmacy services to all customers/residents.Control operating expenses by effective utilization of personnel, equipment and supplies.Develop systems to maintain and improve services within approved budget.Responsible for scheduling of pharmacy technicians to ensure adequate coverage of customer needs.Assist in purchasing and inventory for the pharmacy.Assist in Quarterly Count of Pharmacy InventoryEnsure the timely entry of data to facilitate the delivery and shipment of medications.Must be able to assist in all other pharmacy technician’s duties, as needed.Accepts ownership and accountability for the successful completion of assigned functions and achievement of goals.Strives for compliance by all staff with internal controls and state and federal regulations.Participates in the development and successful implementation of plan(s) of improvement as indicated, recommended and/or required by Supervisor, Director, or any other corporate or regulatory compliance consultant. Communicates progress toward goals and ongoing obstacles to supervisor and company management team, verbally and/or in writing or as dictated. Provides training to other staff that is necessary to successful job performance, consistent with company standards and expectations, and facilitates cross-functional awareness and proficiencies.Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed

Education and/or Certifications:

High School Diploma or GEDColorado Pharmacy Technician license and/or national certification

Skills and Qualifications: 

5+ years of pharmacy technician experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/requiredAbility to work independently and deliver to deadlinesAbility to solve problems with minimal directionGreat attention to detail and accuracyAbility to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlinesQuality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate

Work Environment:

Requires less than 5% travel, by air and ground

Ability to work flexible hours; hours of operation are subject to change based on the needs of the pharmacy
