•Perform all Pharmacy Technician job functions and duties as assigned
•Collaborate with the Pharmacy Leadership and Regional Technician Specialist to initiate and deliver the training plan for Pharmacy Technician-In-Training associates which includes, but is not limited to, the following activities: workstation training, workbook activities, e-learning courses, and other designated training initiatives
•Conduct training in accordance with Rite Aid Policies and Procedures and any federal/state regulations to ensure each Tech-In-Training is set up for success for the training and certification process by maintaining the established Rite Aid Pharmacy Tech Training Program curriculum, national training program standards, and LEAN training initiatives.
•Mentor and coach associates during their learning journey by exemplifying and emphasizing service standards, associate values, and key priority initiatives and serving as Training Exam Proctor and/or Tech Training Preceptor if qualified and when appropriate.
•Maintain required Tech Licensure/Registration (where applicable) and provide guidance for continuous learning and development opportunities; incorporate additional training or support for learning and development initiatives that include, but are not limited to, advanced training, new programs or enhancements, license/certification processes, associate retraining activities, and other activities when needed and appropriate
•Communicate with pharmacy and field leadership teams, corporate partners and other stakeholders regarding the Pharmacy Training Technician role and activities; collect and report data on training and certification program status, student progress and engagement, and other information when requested and appropriate
qualificationsEducation and/or Experience
•H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
•1 year of experience in Pharmacy Technician in a pharmacy required.
• Proficient with all Pharmacy Technician functions and Rite Aid KPIs required.
The typical starting pay range for this position is between $13.25 - $16.50 an hour, although wages can very based on experience and geography.
