Job Title: Production Scientist
Job Description
We are seeking a talented Production Scientist with a strong experience in peptide purification, peptide synthesis, chemistry, and biochemistry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for technology transfer, translating small-scale to large-scale manufacturing, and conducting cross-functional duties. Additionally, the candidate will analyze client samples, manage batch records, and run investigations as needed.
Responsibilities
+ Perform peptide purification and peptide synthesis.
+ Engage in technology transfer and scale-up processes from small-scale to large-scale manufacturing.
+ Analyze client samples and provide detailed reports.
+ Maintain and manage batch records accurately.
+ Conduct investigations and resolve out-of-specification issues when necessary.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
+ Teach and mentor junior chemists in production processes and accurate testing.
Essential Skills
+ Expertise in purification techniques and peptide synthesis.
+ Strong experiance in chemistry and biochemistry.
+ Experience with protein purification and protein analysis.
+ Ability to conduct detailed client sample analysis.
+ Proficiency in managing batch records and conducting investigations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ PhD in Chemistry or Biochemistry preferred.
+ Master's degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience also acceptable.
Work Environment
The role involves working in a lab setting, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior chemists. The candidate will work with advanced technologies and equipment to ensure accurate production and testing.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $55.00/hr.
