PHE & FF lead (Design)

Responsible for leadership, delivery & quality of assigned Design projects under the guidance of MEPF lead.
 Design of projects from concept to GFC stages.
 Ensure all works are carried out as per the currently prevalent Codes and Standards
 Provide technical leadership to resolve all outstanding Design issues.
 Lead role on assigned projects in obtaining internal stakeholder approvals, as necessary.
 Lead role on assigned projects in obtaining approvals from statutory organizations in coordination with consultants/asset teams as deemed necessary.
 Ensure design submitted by consultant(s) meets all requirements. (Drawings, Specifications and BOQ)
 Ensure Design of spaces and systems are.

 Support MEPF lead in identifying consultants / consortia of consultants for the various greenfield/brownfield project developments.
 Lead honoring the Design program and ensure that Design meets functional and aesthetic requirements.
 Prepare presentations, renders, and reports etc. of the assigned projects for management review under the guidance of MEPF lead.
 Review & Comment on consultant’s documents and drawings in coordination with Engineering team & considering design specifications
 Coordinate activities / deliverables with architects, engineers, sub-consultants, stakeholders, agencies, tenants, airlines, etc., relative to facility and systems.
 Build and sustain stakeholder relationships, act as the primary design interface with team members, and a wide range of consultants and collaborators, both internal and external
 Participate in Value engineering exercises as required to arrive at appropriate and acceptable Engineering solutions at Design stage.
 Liaise with various stakeholders on all interfacing projects & related issues.
 Review aspects of the design that are yet unresolved or that are revisited due to change.
 Periodical visit to the site(s) to ensure works are in line with approved Design documents.
 Monitor the program & reinforce the culture of an integrated team.
 Support other departments like Procurement and Contracts, Legal etc. in all Project related matters.
 Conduct regular meetings with consultants to ensure the project is delivered on time and within the cost, meeting all expected standards.
 Report all activities to the reporting manager to ensure transparency in working.

Overall years of experience shall be minimum 10 years. Experience of large-scale infrastructure projects is required. Airports experience is preferred.
