Job Description:At Regions, the Philanthropic Solutions Advisor advises individuals, families and institutions to achieve their charitable mission. The PS Advisor acquires clients, retains and develops relationships and associated revenue for a group of accounts for charitable and non-profit clients.
Primary Responsibilities
Administers and oversees the most complex transactions and client relationships, demonstrating a thorough understanding of client objectives, and identifies and provides alternatives to appropriate stakeholdersMaintains and strengthens internal and external relationships with existing and new centers-of- influence (COIs)Prospects and develops internal and external business networks for the purposes of generating new business opportunities, and participating in sales presentationsDetermines the financial viability and associated risks of client businessOversees and provides exceptional service for client relationships, including following issues through to resolution, meeting deadlines, and anticipating strategic client needs including future opportunities and risksRetains existing client relationships and maintains a focus on prudent revenue growthAchieves assigned sales and retention goalsDemonstrates knowledge of effective sales techniques through understanding client financial goals and objectives and proactively providing Regions based solutions and expertiseLeads client pre-call planning meetings and participates in sales presentationsServes as a subject matter expert on charitable and non-profit community issues, opportunities, trends, and may collaborate on white papersKeeps abreast of the charitable and non-profit industry which may include local involvement in organizationsDevelops knowledge and understanding of Regions’ products and services in addition to a general understanding of Corporate Banking and Wealth businessesPerforms duties in compliance with policies and procedures, all applicable external regulations, and in accordance with Regions' capacity as outlined in governing documentsConsistently generates new business opportunitiesMay lead projects and/or supervise junior level staff, serving as a leader or mentorThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree with six (6) years of Trust or related experience, preferably in Endowments, Foundations, or Charitable GivingOr High School Diploma or GED and ten (10) years of Trust or related experience, preferably in Endowments, Foundations, or Charitable GivingPreferences
Advanced degree, e.g. Juris Doctorate (JD) or Master of Business Administration (MBA)Skills and Competencies
Advanced communicator to a diverse group on complicated issues and topicsAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skills including attention to detailAdvanced oral, written, and organizational skillsAdvanced presentation and sales skillsAdvanced sales ability and knowledge of effective sales techniquesProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.
