THE JOB:
As the Philanthropy and Community Engagement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our corporate social responsibility (CSR) platform. You’ll be at the forefront of developing and executing impactful programs and events through the MGM Resorts Foundation, creating a vibrant culture of giving within our organization and in the communities we serve. This isn’t just a job; it’s a chance to inspire change and elevate our employees' engagement as active participants in their communities!
 

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Shape the annual Community Giving strategic plan and contribute to quarterly reports

Administer the Corporate Giving Program, researching initiatives and assessing social impact

Support Foundation operations by preparing reports, maintaining records, and liaising with internal and external partners

Represent MGM Resorts at community events and public presentations, championing our giving initiatives

Develop innovative programs to attract employee donors and maintain engagement with our Foundation supporters

Utilize database technology to manage Foundation information and prepare reports regularly

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Possesses a minimum of 2 years experience working in philanthropy, community engagement, or similar in a hospitality or corporate social responsibility setting

Is an exceptional communicator who is proficient in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and confidently

Is a confident decision-maker who can make sound decisions independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Is a multi-tasker extraordinaire who can juggle multiple projects with ease while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines

Possesses proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Possesses excellent interpersonal skills to connect effectively with diverse stakeholders
